UK Mainland Deliveries
Free delivery to UK mainland addresses.
For UK mainland orders completed before 3.00pm, we will deliver on the next working day (Mon – Fri), subject to availability and with the exception of public bank holidays.
Please note, on rare occasions there can be delays that occur which are out of our control. This can increase the delivery time of 1 to 2 working days. George’s Industrial Services Ltd. cannot accept any liability for loss of business due to a late or failed delivery and neither do we offer any compensation. We strongly recommend you place your order in advance in case there are any delays with the delivery.
Please ensure that the correct delivery address, contact number and postcode is given when ordering to avoid any delays and additional charges for goods to reach you.
All deliveries must be checked, counted and signed for at point of delivery. All failed delivery attempts may be either sent to a pickup shop, held awaiting further instructions or returned to us. We reserve the right to charge any additional delivery costs to re-attempt delivery.

Non UK Mainland Deliveries
Additional Delivery Notes And Additional Shipping Charges Due To Location
The following postcode areas classified as “remote” by our carrier will incur additional shipping charges (charges will be based on the total weight and dimension of the consignment): Scottish Highlands – AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50,
Scottish Islands – HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3 as well as Northern and Southern Ireland.
If you would like your order shipped to any of the postcodes listed above, or to a non-mainland UK address such as the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man or Channel Islands, please contact us to request a quote for the shipping charge prior to placing your order. Shipping charges are calculated according to the weight, dimensions and delivery destination of the order and we will advise you of the shipping charge before we take the payment for it and complete your order.
Working Days Explained
Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (excluding any bank or national holidays). Any order placed on Saturday, Sunday or a bank or national holiday cannot be processed until the first working day after that and therefore will be treated as if ordered on that day. For example, an order placed on Saturday is treated as if it was ordered on Monday (unless Monday is a bank or national holiday).
EUROPEAN & INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
We can offer a wide range of shipping options to Europe and other countries worldwide. Please contact us for a quote. Please note due to Brexit, custom procedures have now changed for sending goods out from the UK into Europe. George’s will not be held liable for any local custom clearance charges, import taxes or duties required at destination (please check with your local agent prior to ordering).
When you place an online order with us you will be sent an email as soon as your parcel is on its way. You will then receive an update from the courier advising you of the delivery date.
We use different couriers for different items.
DPD – if we use DPD you will receive a 1 hour delivery window on the day of the delivery, provided with have your email address and a mobile telephone number. DPD will also give you options to change your delivery day, leave in a safe place etc.
Fedex – if we use Fedex (heavier items) you will receive an AM or PM delivery slot. If you would like Fedex to leave your delivery safe, they require you to leave a note on your front door with the following information: date, name, tracking number (available from us), leave safe instructions and your signature. They will then take this note away with them for their records.
Orders received by 3.00pm Monday to Friday are shipped same day on a next working day delivery service.
Orders received after 3pm will be shipped the following day (Monday to Friday). Next day delivery relates to working days (Monday-Friday) only.
Orders placed after 3.00pm on a Friday or over the weekend are shipped on Monday.

Delivery & Collection
Delivery and Collection charges for hires depend on delivery location and equipment being hired. We will provide a quote for delivery and collection at time of enquiry.
When you have finished using the equipment, please do let us know so that we can off hire the equipment and organise collection accordingly.
