BLU09/BLU12 - Sash Window Kit

Perfect kit for sash window, would highly recommend as it makes AC much more efficient and looks smarter too.

It arrived very promptly - the next day - so I was super impressed. Until I started to try to follow the 4 pages of instructions that seem repetitive, but never seem to make sense for the whole unit.
I've since phoned George's customer service 3-4 times for help. They sent a video of part of the assembly, but I had to send a return video showing the problem I was experiencing trying to fit it all together, I've heard nothing back since (a week), so the contraption's just been sitting on my kitchen table for 2 weeks now! I'm not incapable. I do my own repairs, etc, but this is baffling and doesn't seem to work properly with very poor instructions. I'm getting very frustrated I'm with it all.

Great product that was easy to assemble and install. It works fantastically.

The drawback of portable air conditioning is the need to fiddle with awkward window kit. This is the only portable air conditioner window kit that has worked for me. It is simple to set up and is ideal for heavy Victorian sash windows that can clamp down on it. If so, tapes and screws become unnecessary. It can then be easily removed which makes it ideal for use on brief heat waves. I would add my recommendation of George’s Industrial. You won’t find nicer people.
