The unit wasn't installed on time, a Daikin unit was recommended. We had a number of other quotes and all suggested different positions in the room to place the wall unit. Georges suggestion that the unit was placed high up on the back wall was the correct choice and the unit works very well in a large over 20sqm conservatory.

Neil and Kul and the team were brilliant. I first called Neil in for a project that they couldn't do in the end but I was so impressed with their professionalism and courtesy that I called them again when I was renovating my new house - a large renovation project. There were lots of builders about with whom they had to work and there was some tension as the air con install necessitated some re work on the builder's and electrician's part and the communication from the George's could have been better. However I have given them high marks overall because they were friendly and courteous with me personally and worked with me to work out what was right for me. They were also very patient; the work was finished a good while ago but as works were still ongoing - painting and decorations etc, I did not wish to uncover the units in order to test them. I was not there when the final install was done and so could not test it then. This meant I could not pay the second part of the payments as I needed to see the units working and be walked through the functions. The painting and decorations then went on longer than expected but these guys were good about it, for which I rate them highly end to end. They have proved themselves to be consummate professionals. I will need another 4 units in the future. There is no doubt that George's will be my preferred company.

We had 3 AC units fitted to our Victorian house. Neil’s team were very professional and considerate, working around our baby. They kept mess to a minimum and cleaned up and took every away. Would definitely recommend!

When we commenced doing our new extension project, I was keen to get some Aircon in the House due to the warmer weather in summer. I found the company via google search and contacted them immediately as my builder was keen to get all piping work at the time. In the past I contacted another company and whilst they booked me for a survey did not turn up as I did not reconfirm. When I contacted Neil, he was ready to come in for a no obligation quote and survey to help me make the right decision. This was crucial for me as in the past I was mislead to buy an unknown make unit and I had to return it as I wasn’t sure if it would work. Neil came as promised and gave me good ideas on how we could get Aircon in the House with the least possible trouble. He was honest and said that due to the high efficiency units they supply they attract a Vat of just 5% and not 20% which I was quoted by others. As I was keen to make a decision and get someone to prepare for the unit to go in, Neil gave me quotations the very day and I was very impressed with his promptness. He was very open, honest and straightforward. His team has carried out the installation and I am very happy with my unit. Now when I look back, I don’t think I could trust anyone more than Neil and his team to do the work. I recommend them without a doubt. My husband is also pleased with the service provided. I will be using their services again in the future.

Excellent service provided by the Company. A team of three engineers on site, very punctual and professional. Everything from ordering units to installation went well. Installation of three units and electric job took three days. No mess after each installation, everywhere was clean and tidy. After completion, they tested all the units and we had a short induction by the engineer (Sandeep) who installed all the units.

I looked around at many A/C units and decided that the BLU 09 was by far the best unit for the price. I ordered this A/C from this company as they are a specialist A/C company and have been around for many years. The service I received was impeccable and they delivered the unit the very next day. On arriving in my office/mini data-centre one morning last week and finding the temperatures at 28degC I urgently needed to find an industrial 24x7 air cooling solution to replace my failed "high-street shop" units. I came across George's Air Conditioning / Air Conditioning Direct and could see a single unit that looked like it would easily do the job for a reasonable hire price. I was able to speak with someone to discuss its suitability, costs and ordering. After a few emails to confirm company details I was able to hire the unit. It arrived next day precisely on time (they did offer same day too). It was installed easily enough and within 24 hours the environmental temperatures were right back down to where they should be, and I was able to bin the existing two "high-street" units and several other fans I had scattered around. Great communications, customer service and even the 3rd party delivery guy was a pleasure to deal with.

Review on new air conditioner from airconditioningdirect This appliance is amazing. I’ve had a 6,000BTU air conditioning unit for years, and it does a good job, but although it still works, it’s getting old. I dragged it out again for the hot weather and immediately decided to buy a new one. I’ve doubled up to this 12,000 BTU example which strangely will cost less than half as much to run as my old one. The importers say it is because of new technology. It arrived very quickly (Tuesday 15th June 2021) and was set up in no time. Very straight forward. The difference was stunning. My old machine blew out refrigerated air and its effect was pleasant. It never did lower the room temperature by much but we appreciated it anyway. I used my new machine as soon as I was able, on Tuesday 15th June (day of arrival) the indoor temperature was at 29 degrees. Within seconds we realised that this machine was going to deliver. After ten minutes the room temperature went down to 26 and within an hour it was at 21. It didn’t get any cooler and as my wife said she was too cold I turned it off (using very clear remote control). Straight away the temperature started to rise. It was still baking outside. I told my wife to put a jumper on as I was still too hot. She did, l turned the unit back on and we were both happy. The cool/cold air was pleasant to experience. We left it on for the rest of the day. During which time it did achieve 20 degrees, until the sun went down at which point the temperature started to plummet. At 18 degrees we switched it off again for the rest of the day. The room did quickly warm up again to 22 degrees, but we were going to bed anyway. I’ve only had this appliance two days (yesterday was the hottest day of the year so far at 30+) but if it continues to perform as it has done thus far then I am more than happy to highly recommend it. I’ve read a lot of QnA and reviews and feel sure almost all of everyone’s problems have been self inflicted by not reading the manual. The manual is comprehensive and I have not seen a single review, complaint or question that a purchaser couldn’t have solved for themselves had they done the relevant reading. The importers are very patient with questions, answering the same one from different questioners, several times. Yes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It’s raining today but still hot. My air-con is back on, but at a slower fan speed and higher temperature though I don’t think that the set temperature actually makes any difference until it is accomplished. I think the slower fan speed is more relevant, but I must experiment and find out for sure because it seems to me that the cooling cools at the same rate no matter what. It just does it differently as the other parameters are altered. I admit, at this point, I don’t know. I would like to add, that Amazon found this genuine, unsolicited review to be inappropriate and, very unfairly, have deleted it and all my years of reviews from their site with no reply to my question as to what is wrong with it.

The Servicing Team were most courteous and very professional. They did a fantastic job servicing our Air Conditioning. They also explained what needed changing and why. They are an asset to George's Air Conditioning.

Correspondence with the after sales service was great; very helpful. My issues was that I received the wrong item which meant I was unable to use my air conditioner when I needed it most. I eventually received the correct part after it was sorted by the after sales service team.

Neil and the whole team were fantastic. I can’t recommend them highly enough. The AC is a huge plus to our home renovation. They recommended the best solution for our budget, and fitted it in a way that looks great, built into the ceiling with flush painted grills in the walls. In June this year I finally decided to buy an Aircon unit for the living room as the heat of this year's summer became extreme. After some searching for the best option to suit my needs I decided upon a BLU09 Portable AC Unit 2.5KW. After searching the internet for stockists and the best prices I decided to buy it from air-conditioning direct.com. Not only was the price great the service was excellent. Staff from the company helped me adjust the date of delivery to fit a a day I would be available and withing three days they it had arrived. So far, so good.

Incredible service from start to finish! The initial survey was really helpful and everything was explained in an easy to understand manner allowing us to plan our works accordingly. The engineers were great and took care with the intricate details, special mention to Dima who paid attention to all the minor details and my requirements such as hiding the ducting and positioning of the units on the walls. My house is so nice and cool now, just in time and very much needed for the current heatwave! 5 star service, very happy with the slick units as well!
